Membership

MEMBERSHIP:

Membership is open to any owner, skipper, crew, sailor,or other supporter of the 29er sailboat and Class. Membership is subject to paying annual dues as set from time-to-time by the Class and not being suspended per the Yachting Association of India or the International 29er Class Association Constitution rules.

All Sailing Clubs in India applying for the membership to the association shall also be affiliated to the Yachting Association of India.

ENTRANCE FEES/SUBSCRIPTION:

(a) The entrance fee to the Association, which is payable on application, shall be as follows:

Sailing Clubs - Rs. 2000/-
Life Associate Members - Rs. 10000/-

(b) Annual Subscriptions payable by Member Clubs/associate members are as follows:-

Sailing Clubs - Rs. 5000/- per sailworthy boat on its rolls or Rs. 10,000/- if more than two boats are held on the rolls of the Club at the time of grant / renewal of Membership.
Life Associate Members - Rs. 200/-
Annual Associate Members - Rs. 1000/-

(c) All subscriptions payable to the 29er Class Association shall become due on 1st April. In the case of a new member Club/associate members, the subscription shall be payable within two months of grant of affiliation and shall cover the remainder of the current financial year.

(d) Fine for late payment of yearly subscription by Clubs and Life Associate Members for the year will be as follows:-
